Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 18, 2026

1. Introduction

DigitalBamboo ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of the personal information we collect from visitors to our websites and clients worldwide, including those in the European Union. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you visit this page or register your interest in our products.

2. Information We Collect

When you register your interest on this page (the DigitalBamboo launch-updates form), we collect:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Preferred language
  • Your consent choices
  • The page or campaign that referred you (referral source / UTM parameters)

This page also collects limited first-party visitor analytics: a randomly generated visitor identifier stored in your browser, visit counts and timestamps, session duration, referral source, your browser's user-agent string, and your browser's language preferences. This data is stored on our own infrastructure and is not shared with advertising networks.

With your explicit consent, and only then, we additionally determine your approximate location (city, country, timezone) from your IP address via the ipinfo.io service, and measure your network latency to our servers.

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as financial information, health data, biometric or behavioral data (such as typing patterns), or government-issued identifiers through this page.

3. How We Use Your Information

The personal information we collect is used exclusively to:

  • Keep you informed about the DigitalBamboo launch and beta program you registered for
  • Consider your registration for beta-cohort participation
  • Understand, in aggregate, who is interested in our products
  • Improve this page and our services

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Cookies and Tracking

This page uses essential browser storage (a visitor identifier, your language preference, and your cookie-consent choice) required for the page to function, plus optional, consent-gated analytics: approximate IP-based geolocation via ipinfo.io and a network-latency measurement. These optional measurements run only after you explicitly accept them in the consent dialog; declining is always one click and never limits your use of the page.

This page is served through Cloudflare, our content delivery and security provider, whose essential cookies are necessary for performance optimization and protection against malicious traffic.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Cloudflare: This page is served through Cloudflare, which may process limited technical data (such as IP addresses) for security and performance purposes.
  • ipinfo.io: Only with your explicit consent, your IP address is sent to ipinfo.io to determine your approximate location (city, country, timezone). You can review their privacy policy at ipinfo.io/privacy-policy. If you decline analytics consent, no request to ipinfo.io is ever made.

6. Data Retention

Launch-updates registrations are retained until the product launch cycle they relate to completes, and no longer than 24 months. First-party visitor analytics are retained for no longer than 12 months. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the email address listed below.

7. Your Rights

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • Right of Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Rectification: You may request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Right to Erasure: You may request that we delete your personal data, subject to applicable legal requirements.
  • Right to Data Portability: You may request a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
  • Right to Object: You may object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to Restrict Processing: You may request that we limit the processing of your personal data.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw analytics consent at any time; it applies from that moment on.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

8. International Data Transfers

If you are accessing this page from the European Union, the United States, or any other jurisdiction with data protection laws, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed where our infrastructure is located. We take reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy, regardless of where it is processed.

9. Children's Privacy

This page and our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
